Legal Counsel

Luxembourg Recruitment Partnership are delighted to be helping this well established Asset Management Group in their search for a legal counsel to be No.2 in the governance and legal department as they grow their business in Luxembourg.

Centrally based, they have a small multinational team here and a friendly close knit feel about them. The role is a broad one working closely with the General Counsel and would suit someone who is happy to take responsibility for their own workload and dealings with other stakeholders.

The role, culture and workload are more “lifestyle” than “driven”, and it’s a secure, steady and pleasant environment to work in.

Duties will include:

• CoSec duties for parent and group entities.
• Statutory periodic returns and filings.
• Ongoing review of corporate governance services and recommending improvements.
• Cross-border transactions and support.
• Working closely with the investment management team on investments and divestments.
• Deputising for the General Counel.
• Provide help with ad-hoc projects as needed.

You will have:

• 7 years+ legal experience in the Luxembourg fund industry preferably in-house.
• Native or near as English.
• A desire to work in a role where quality of life and work is more important than remuneration.
